Import and Export in the top toolbar talk to the outside world. Beyond the Markdown and PNG shown here, import accepts .kmindz, XMind, OPML, and FreeMind .mm files, and export covers SVG, PDF handouts, Markdown, OPML, and XMind.

Paste a Markdown outline
Click Import in the top bar, paste a heading outline into "Paste markdown headings" and click "Replace current map".
# becomes the root, ## the first level, ### the second; list items are kept as the root's note.
Export PNG
Click Export in the top bar, choose PNG as the type, adjust quality and beautify if you like, and click Export.
The Web App downloads the file; in SiYuan and Obsidian it lands in the asset folder or the vault.
Copy as image and paste it back
Right-click a node and choose "Copy as image → Window"; a status capsule confirms "Image copied". The clipboard now holds a PNG with a window frame and shadow.
The clip pastes it back onto the canvas with ⌘ V, where it appears as an image node; it pastes into chat apps and documents just as well.
